Classes
Classes will be held daily from 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday. Students may be signed up for the school year to attend the 2 day, 3 day, 4 day or 5 day a week class. Each class will be limited to 12 students per day. Class days may be flexible if space is available.
Core content will be delivered from Mother Goose Time Curriculum. Mother Goose Time believes:
*Activities should focus on the whole child and help the child develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.
*Learning is about the process, not the product.
*Children learn through play.
*Children learn through hands-on experiences.
*Open-ended questions facilitate the development of critical thinking skills.
*Preschool is the prime opportunity to develop social skills.
*The Mother Goose Time curriculum is correlated to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines for appropriate curriculum.
We will additionally be incorporating our knowledge of reading readiness skills, such as, phonemic awareness, letter identification and sounds, rhyming, concepts about print, and more.
Each day students will be engaged in unique learning experiences that foster their cognitive, creative, social, motor and emotional development. We plan each day intentionally to offer a range of learning experiences that build skills and knowledge across all content areas.
